Pacreas

The uncinate process/neck/head/body/tail of the pancreas contains a ... mm unilocular/multilocular cystic structure. The walls are smooth/nodular thickened, and contain no/some/extensive calcifications. The lesion contains no/a central scar/calcification. There is definite/no enhancement of the wall. There is no/some debris. The lesion does not/does communicate with the main duct, which is not/is dilated, the distal part of pancreas is normal/atrophic. The bile ducts are not/are obstructed. The locoregional lymph nodes are not enlarged/enlarged. Conclusion: The neck of the pancreas shows a unilocular lesion, sized < 2 cm. The pancreatic duct does not communicate with the lesion and is is not dilated. The regional lymphnodes are not enlarged. Probable diagnosis pseudocyst. MRI indicated for further characterisation.

Pancreatic cysts are regarded symptomatic when there is hyperamylasemia, recent-onset diabetes, severe epigastric pain, weight loss, steatorrhea, or jaundice
